• a believer in experiential learning-show-up and play! YES practice is important...but a teachable attitude and a love of learning trumps egg-timer practicing

• non-performance oriented...YES- Performance is important but only in a loving, supportive setting
• one who teaches the WHOLE MUSICIAN...what does that mean? A computer can play notes correctly...what makes a human different? Musicality! Only a human can bring emotion, skill, experience and interpretation to a piece of music….How does a person become more musical?
